We welcome Dan Sharpe, VP for Community Research and Grant Management for The Columbus Foundation. Also in studio with us was intern Holly Trimble, as student at The Ohio State University.
During 2019, we are celebrating 75 years of philanthropy in Central Ohio through The Columbus Foundation. The Foundation is not just collecting money. They have taken a strategic approach to engaging our community.
Dan gives us more information about:
- the non-profit sector role in Central Ohio, socially and economically,
- The Big Give and At The Table,
- how individuals can enhance the work of non-profits through volunteering and support,
- how the Foundation has supported opportunities for employment,
- resources the Foundation provides non-profits.
